OVERWEIGHT AND EXERCISE
According to the Surgeon General, 30 minutes of light to moderate exercise five or more days a week is needed to maintain general health and successfully manage obesity. Although SIT AND BE FIT does not claim to have drastic effects on the weight of its participants, it does act as a good source of exercise. The majority of our workouts are approximately 30 minutes and provide an appropriate level of exercise intensity for people just beginning to exercise, especially if a doctor has given restrictions to the exercise they should do. Those who are severely overweight and wish to find exercises to help manage obesity may be intimidated by other exercise programs, but SIT AND BE FIT is not strenuous and is gentle enough for any physical activity level. SIT AND BE FIT is a great way to start a routine of exercise for obesity because it lays the foundation for other exercise programs by focusing on toning, stretching, strength, posture, balance, and other components that make up the core of a great exercise program. SIT AND BE FIT's music and choreography makes it a fun program that will allow you to enjoy exercising everyday.
