Sit and Be Fit TV host, Mary Ann Wilson, RN, shares a healthy aging tip about the benefits of chocolate.

Chocolate, as it turns out, is actually good for you! Just when you thought there was no good news about how sweets impact your waistline. But, before you go crazy in the candy isle, take a few minutes to read the facts and tips above. As with almost everything, chocolate consumption is healthy only if done in moderation. It’s also important to take  time to read over the nutrition label on the packaging of chocolates. Not all chocolate is created equal! If the first ingredient is sugar or if it is processed with alkali (also called “dutching”) put it down and look for a better option, one that will give you all the benefits that real chocolate has to offer.
